What grades are offered at Lakewood International Academy?
Lakewood International Academy offers a comprehensive education from Pre-Foundation Phase (Grades RR-R), Foundation Phase (Grades 1-3), Intermediate Phase (Grades 4-6), Senior Phase (Grades 7-9), to FET Phase (Grades 10-12), focusing on literacy, numeracy, and STEM development through coding, robotics, and hands-on learning, preparing students for future academic and career success.
How many students are in a class?
At Lakewood International Academy, our small classes ensure individual attention. We limit the number of students per class to 25.
How does the fee structure work?
Parents have a choice of paying the school fees upfront for the whole year. Parents who choose to pay the annual amount will receive a discount. Parents also have the option of paying the school fees in monthly instalments for 12 months. View Our fees
Are there additional costs for sports and cultural events?
At Lakewood International, we provide an all-inclusive offering to give our students every opportunity to develop holistically. Most of the sports and cultural activities are included in our school fees. We also offer several private activities to enrich our offering, subject to demand, and at an extra cost to parents.
Application Process
How do i enrol at Lakewood?
If you are an existing Lakewood parent, you can enrol a new your child/learner using the LIA Parent/Guardian Portal.

Can I submit the application form manually at the school ?
All Applications can be submitted online through our website or you can fill in the Application form and drop a copy on our reception desk and our staff will assist in completing the admission process.

How soon do I need to apply for a specific academic year?
Spaces at Lakewood International are limited, so it is best to apply as soon as enrolments opens in September.
Is it compulsory for the prospective student to attend the interview and assessment in person?
It is preferable for the student to attend the interview and assessment in person. If the student is applying from overseas, arrangements can be made to have the assessment sent to the student’s current school to be completed. Interviews can also be arranged via Skype or Zoom.

Lakewood International Academy offers a wide range of sports including soccer, netball, tennis, padel tennis, teqball, swimming, and chess, along with cultural activities like debating, drama, music, and dance, while STEM clubs such as coding, robotics, and science foster innovation, and learners showcase their talents through science fairs, robotics competitions, and inter-school sports tournaments.
