Welcome to Lakewood International Academy! With over twenty-five years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working with learners across the Intermediate and Senior Phases, with a primary focus on FET Languages. I am passionate about lifelong learning and the development of individuals, and I believe in the power of education to shape young minds and open doors to future opportunities.
At Lakewood, we are committed to providing a learning environment where learners are not only equipped with a strong knowledge base but also understand the relevance of what they are learning in their everyday lives. I firmly believe that when students see the real-world application of their studies, they engage more deeply and are more motivated to excel. My philosophy is rooted in the idea that education should be context-based, enriching the overall learning experience.
I have also had the pleasure of mentoring future educators, helping them reach their full potential, and I strive to foster that same level of growth and development in every learner here at Lakewood International Academy.
